And just like that, the long holiday weekend draws to a close.

I worked twenty stations in the Tennessee QSO Party on Sunday, a mix of Phone and CW. On Saturday I logged a small handful (all 20 meter phone) in the Colorado QSO Party.

The rest of the “radio” weekend was all FT8. The new WJST-X release (v1.8.0-rc2) is interesting though my preset frequencies disappeared in the upgrade process and I had to manually re-enter them to make them appear in the pull-down band selector. Otherwise, it was a smooth upgrade.

A few important notes - there’s a twitter account for the newsletter, follow it for occasional updates. In addition, Yahoo mail accounts still report email from Tinyletter as bulk mail and automatically unsubscribes users from the letter. The only workaround is to use an alternate email address or wait to view each edition online in the archive.
